If you homeschool in Florida, you’ll want to become a member of the Florida Parent Educator Association.  FPEA dues are often included in your local support group dues.  FPEA offers many benefits including a magazine 5 times a year and an annual convention in Kissimmee that's ranked in the top 3 in the nation. 

You'll also want to support the Home Education Foundation, headed by Brenda Dickinson, a homeschool lobbyist.
