Plans for our journey began when our son, Jonathan, let us know he would be marrying the very lovely Sally Kravik on October 1, 2005.  "What a great excuse," we thought, "for the ultimate field trip to California!"  Add in a few speaking engagements and a little sight-seeing, and we end up with a six-week field trip for mom and the four youngest, Daniel (16), Stephen (15), Patrick (13), Joel (10) and Mom (NA).   :)   Bill, James, Kate and Bill's dad will fly out for the weekend of the wedding, and Bill and his dad will join us in Fresno for a week to sight-see California while the kids are on their honeymoon.  Kate and James will fly back to Florida for school and work.
